The company began with a simple observation: help can exist and still be difficult to reach. One Family Table exists to build the connections between those pieces.
G.A.P. — Guidance • Access • Provisions — is the flagship technology platform created by One Family Table. Powered by One Family Table, G.A.P. is designed to help people understand what resources, programs, services, benefits, and opportunities may be available to them and what they can do next.
Founder story
Why I Built This
There were times in my own life when I experienced food insecurity and simply did not know where to turn. I knew help had to exist somewhere, but knowing help exists and knowing how to reach it are two very different things. A tool like G.A.P. would have made a world of difference for me. I didn’t want to build another list of resources. I wanted to build what I wish had existed: something that could understand where a person is, show them what may be possible, and help them find a way forward. That idea became G.A.P., and G.A.P. became the beginning of One Family Table.
